Clariant and Huntsman Call It Quits

Firms abandon merger plans.

Clariant and Huntsman Corporation today jointly announced that they have mutually terminated their proposed merger of equals. The decision was unanimously approved by the boards of directors at both companies.   The firms announced their intent in May.
